STUDENTS - After School Activities
Westwood Charter School offers several after school activities to support its students. Please contact the main office to get more information on how to participate.
Chess Club
Westwood Charter School’s Chess Club is open to all interested players, experienced or not. Players range from Kindergarten to fifth grade. Meetings are in the school library on Fridays after school from 3:00-4:00 p.m. This is a great way to end the school week if you like fun and challenging games.
Homework Co-Op
Do you need a place to do your homework on Mondays and Wednesdays? The Westwood Homework Co-Op provides a place after school that offers homework support so long as parents can volunteer to help. Ask your teacher for more information as to where the Co-Op can be found on campus.
STAR
Are you a member of STAR? Take enrichment classes and learn and enjoy ceramics, art, science, dancing, cooking, piano, drama and much more!
Youth Services
The Beyond the Bell Branch Youth Services Section of LAUSD offers an after-school supervised playground program at Westwood Charter School from 2:45 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
